Youth Hostel Association England & Wales ( www.yha.org.uk )  We have been working with the YHA for a number of years during which time we have not only developed a number of web sites but also a comprehensive suite of back office applications to enable the YHA admin staff to maintain all aspects of the site as well as manage booking, membership and affiliate processes.   Content Management The new YHA site makes comprehensive us of our ProContent system allowing in-house staff to update all content on the site. Hostel Booking System  A primary aspect of the YHA site is the ability for visitors to book any of 230+ hostels throughout England and Wales. A back office mamagement system, developed by Equinox eBusiness Solutions, enable the processing of bookings through the site. Membership Booking  Membership is a major part of the YHA business model. Visitors to the site can apply and pay for membership online. This is backed up with a back office system that manages membership applications. Affiliate management This back office system allows agents (resellers) to take membership applications either via an extranet or on their own web sites on behalf of the YHA. THis system calculates and manages agents and commissions.
